As Turnberry is to Ayrshire and Gleneagles is to Perthshire, Castle Stuart Golf Links has been conceived to be for the Highlands – a beacon reaching out to golfers throughout the world.
This Scottish Open venue will take you on a journey through the notable landmarks of the Moray Firth. This cornerstone Links enjoys a setting comprised by cast expanses of gorse, broom, heather and sea marram. The defining ‘circular drum’ panoramic clubhouse is the perfect setting to enjoy those spectacular views of the Moray Firth with a cold or hot drink in hand.

RANGE AND SHORT GAME AREA
Castle Stuart’s complimentary 350 yard Practice Range includes a ‘short game area’ and is just steps away from the Golf Shop. The morning sun shines from behind practice shots played into the prevailing wind. A wee warm up or some serious sorting out and you’re on your way to the practice Putting Green located just beyond the Golf Shop next to the Starters Hut.
PUTTING GREEN
Adjacent to the Golf Shop, Restaurant & Bar, and Starters Hut, Castle Stuart’s Putting Green is large and conveniently located – both for finding your putting groove while waiting to be called to the 1st tee AND resolving any unfinished post-round business while enjoying a beverage, or two, on the adjoining restaurant patio.
STARTER HUT and HALFWAY REFRESHMENTS
The starter’s job is to give visiting golfers their complimentary course guide, logo bag tag, scorecard, pencil, and tees, all in a Castle Stuart pouch AND to provide perspective on Castle Stuart’s unique links character. Toilets and a number of food & beverage options are available. At the turn enjoy a hot dog or soup, both of which have become visitor favourites, as well as your beverage of choice.
