Classic Rooms
Bright and spacious, many with views over landscaped gardens. Rooms are designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind, offering all the special amenities of a four star hotel, plus a few extra Great Southern surprises. The average area of a Classic Bedroom including bathroom is 27m2.

Deluxe Room
More space, a desk area and a dining table, these rooms make it easier to spread out and work or relax. The average size of a Deluxe Bedroom including bathroom is 31-33 m2. Golfers will appreciate the open wardrobe with plenty of space for your golf bag. Also includes a Golf putter to perfect your technique! Some Deluxe Guestrooms have a separate bath and shower, and some have 3 beds. 

Garden Deluxe Room
Each Garden Deluxe bedroom also has a balcony with magnificent views of the mountains and the town of Killarney. With more space, a desk area and a dining table, these rooms make it easier to spread out and work or relax. The average size of a Garden Deluxe Bedroom including bathroom is 36-38m2. Also includes Golf putter to perfect your technique! All of the Garden Deluxe bedrooms at the Great Southern have a separate claw bath and shower.

Victorian Junior Suites
Checking into a Junior Suite at Great Southern Killarney is pure indulgence. Each is designed to provide an absolutely luxurious setting for your stay. Great Southern Junior Suites are truly spacious, with an average size of 41m2 of living space, a special dressing area, and a large sitting room area for relaxing in a soft chair or sofa.

Great Southern Junior Suites offer plenty of special extras - slip into a soft bathrobe and slippers & curl up and read on the sofa. Also includes a Golf putter to perfect your technique!

Enjoy a rejuvenating shower with extra large bath towels, or sink into a separate bathtub to make the most of a luxurious range of The White Company, London, bath and body products. Junior Suites in the West Wing of the Main House feature a quaint traditional entrance hall, while others are open plan for even more space.

THE GREAT SOUTHERN SUITES
The Grand Suites at the Great Southern consist of The Kennedy Suite, The Ambassador Suite, The Grace Suite and The Railway Cottage. Average room size of the Grand Suites is 46m2.

Ambassador Suite
A room of exceptional grace and comfort, located in a prime corner position of the Main House. In this one-bedroom, one-bathroom suite, tall south-facing Victorian windows overlooking the gardens. A separate drawing room provides an impressive place for private meetings, receiving guests, or just relaxing.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed. You'll find a perfect start or end to your day in the roomy Ambassador Suite bathroom, with thick marble counters and a double sink. Extra large bath towels and a separate bathtub help you make the most of a luxurious range of The White Company, London, bath and body products.

The Kennedy Suite
An opulent suite that is available with one or two bedrooms, and separate sitting room. This suite embodies the sophisticated elegance of the Victorian era and has been a haven for many Presidents, celebrities, and dignitaries throughout the years. The Kennedy Suite commands a prime location in the Main House, with magnificent views overlooking the hotel's beautiful gardens and the scenic mountains of Killarney.

It has been carefully and tastefully designed with traditional and authentic fabrics, a Waterford Crystal chandelier, and antique furniture chosen exclusively for each room. Adding to the feeling of total luxury are beautiful period fittings and paintings from the hotel's extensive collection of fine art. Traditional features in the spacious bathrooms include double sinks set in rich mahogany stands and free-standing cast-iron bathtub. The traditional feel doesn't get in the way of comfort, and you'll appreciate a rejuvenating shower with extra large bath towels.

The Grace Suite 
A luxurious suite that is available with a bedroom/ sitting room and dressing area. The Grace Suite has an ideal location at the corner of the Main House of the hotel with spectacular views of the mountains and over looking Killarney town. The decoration is in keeping with the rest of the hotel and it has been finished with rich fabrics and a Waterford Crystal chandelier. In the bathroom there is a large marble sink and a separate shower and claw bath.

THE RAILWAY RESIDENCE SUITES
Located within the grounds of the Great Southern and is a standalone Victorian residence. This unique property has two separate 2 bedroom apartments, both of which are elegantly decorated. The Railway Residence Suites can be used as one 4 bedroom Grand Suite or as two separate 2 bedroom Grand Suite apartments.

Each 2 bedroom Grand Suite can accommodate up to 4 people with One double bedroom and one twin bedroom in each. Along with two luxury bedrooms, each of The Railway Residence Suites has a Kitchenette & dining area. These are perfectly suited for small groups looking for luxury accommodation in Killarney town centre.
