Dalmahoy Golf Resort & Spa
Set amidst 1,000 acres of beautiful tranquil parkland, Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club can offer you a relaxing stay whilst only a 20 minute drive from the centre of Edinburgh. Impressively situated in 1,000 acres of parkland lies the four-star Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, with spectacular views to Edinburgh Castle and the Forth Bridges, it’s a celebration of Scottish heritage.

Dalmahoy operate a Shuttle Bus service for hotel guests. The free Shuttle Bus will run to and from Edinburgh Park Station and guests can then catch a train to Edinburgh or Glasgow or, hop on a tram into Edinburgh city centre or to the Airport. Onward journeys will be at the guests’ own expense. This service must be pre-booked.

DALMAHOY GUEST ROOMS
Dalmahoy offers a selection of different room types. A Classic Room for two with a modern flair, Period Rooms that offer a nod to Scottish history and seven beautiful suites in the Manor House section of the hotel. All rooms have Hypnos beds, Smart TV’s, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities.

Classic Double Rooms 
These bright bedrooms comprise of a queen-size bed, flat screen TV, mini fridge and en-suite bathroom. If you’re looking to bring children, a rollaway bed and crib can also be accommodated.

Classic Twin Rooms
Classic Twin rooms boast more space with two double beds, catering for up to 4 guests. Some interconnecting rooms offer plenty of options for up to 8 guests. These flexible, large rooms are perfect for families or for groups of friends here to play golf or for a few nights of pampering. These rooms also feature en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower over.

Deluxe Rooms
Beautiful views over our grounds or golf courses, immaculate décor and complimentary robes, slippers and bottled water are all available when staying on one of Dalmahoy’s Deluxe King Rooms. These bedrooms offer a little more space than our Classic Rooms and the added extras add a luxurious touch.

Manor House Double
Experience all of the prestige of our traditional Manor House setting when staying in one of our historic rooms. Bursting with character and steeped in history, these rooms were part of the original Manor House and retain a range of period features, including high ceilings, sash and case windows, with some even boasting an original fireplace – perfect for a special occasion.
These rooms feature a comfortable king-size bed, superb views, espresso coffee machines, bottled mineral water and robes & slippers.

Junior Turret Suites
Stay in one of the unrivalled Junior Turret Suites, located in the corner turrets of the Hotel.  The Junior Turret Suite boasts a huge super king-size bed, spacious corner seating area and large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Each suite has a espresso coffee machine, bottled mineral water as well as robes & slippers for your comfort. The suites are themed after famous Scottish whisky distilleries, with some artwork from the distillery featured within the room.

Full Turret Suite
The impressive Turret Suites are quite something. Each boasts their own separate corner seating area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a super king-size bed and luxury bathroom featuring a corner bath and separate walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds and its own bathroom with shower over bath. Both rooms are connected via an internal door.

The rooms are modelled around Scotland’s famous whisky distilleries, in a nod to the country’s rich heritage. This, in combination with the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, makes a perfect choice for an authentic Scottish experience.

Morton Suites
Savour the luxurious atmosphere of the Morton Suite, once occupied by the Lord and Lady of our baronial manor. The historic Suite boasts an elegantly decorated main bedroom, study space and separate sitting room with sofa-bed. There is an additional corner bathroom for the second room with superb views of the surrounding countryside. The large king-size bed, espresso coffee machine & evening turndown service add to its sense of prestige.

The Pentland Restaurant
Overlooking the Dalmahoy Championship East Course, The Pentland Restaurant really is something special. Divine dishes are served in a historic manor house setting, making for a memorable dining experience. It’s hard to believe you’re just twenty minutes from Edinburgh’s city centre.

Whether starting the day with breakfast or indulging in a selection of divine dishes for dinner, The Pentland Restaurant is the perfect spot for Scottish cuisine. It unfolds across elegantly furnished indoor, outdoor and private dining areas.

Seasonal menus boast a range of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. Some have even been hand-picked from Dalmahoy's on-site herb garden. You can be assured of an authentic dining experience at The Pentland Restaurant.

The Brasserie & James Braid Bar
The Brasserie is the perfect spot for relaxed food and drink for all the family. Natural daylight floods through huge windows, revealing the beautiful views over the grounds. It’s a great space to have a coffee, spot of lunch or bite to eat in the evening.

There’s a wide selection on the menu, from grilled meats and pasta dishes to fresh juices and smoothies. Whether indulging in a spot of golf, visiting the leisure club or simply taking in the views, there’s something to satisfy every taste. 

The Brasserie is the perfect place for families to dine together in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There is a kids menu for the younger ones and the main menu has plenty of options for fussy teenage taste buds, from pizza & pasta to burgers, sandwiches, and salads. 

Cocktail Bar
The cocktail bar is located in the original manor house building and oozes history, heritage and tradition. Comfortable leather sofas, roaring wood burning fires and magnificent views make this a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy some fabulous food & drinks.

Fully stocked with some of the finest beers, wines and spirits including some very fine single malt whiskies. The experienced bar staff are on hand to recommend whiskies for every palette.

There is a bar menu with light bites, snacks and main dishes available.

Private Dining
If you’re looking for a venue to host a private dinner for your golf group, there are plenty of options for you. Dalmahoy can cater for groups from as small as 6 or 8 and up to groups as large as 300. 

DALMAHOY GOLF & LEISURE
Retreat to our fabulous Country Club, a luxury hide-away, just seven miles from Edinburgh’s city centre. Fitness lovers are spoiled for choice with two 18-hole golf courses, floodlit driving range, pitch & putt course, outdoor tennis courts. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and state-of-the-art gym.

Dalmahoy’s golfing heritage attracts golfers of all levels, looking to test their skills at the famous venue where the European Ladies won their first Solheim Cup, and where famous names such as Seve Ballesteros, Sam Torrance and Nick Faldo have competed in the Scottish Seniors Open.

The East Course was designed by James Braid to Championship standards, and is a monster from the Championship tees at over 7,400 yards. For members’ competitions and corporate events, it’s a more manageable 6,684 yards, but is still a formidable challenge. 

The West Course is the shorter of the two but is still a good test of golf. There is a good mix of shorter par 4’s and par 3’s, alongside some very tough par 4’s and a par 5 which is the longest on either course.
